We successfully hosted our Workshop on Detecting AI-Generated Content at COLING 2025 on January 19. The workshop brought together researchers and practitioners to explore advances in identifying machine-generated text across different languages and domains.

The event attracted 272 registered participants, with 30 attendees joining in person and online. A total of 11 research papers were accepted, reflecting a 57% acceptance rate. Additionally, three shared tasks generated significant engagement:

  • Task 1: 18 papers
  • Task 2: 8 papers
  • Task 3: 8 papers

The workshop provided a platform for insightful discussions, fostering collaboration in this rapidly evolving field.
